The Clothing-Free Club

Summary: Lindsay and her little brother are chosen to be the representatives of their school’s new club. For the 10-year-old girl it will be something she’d never expected to do in front of her classmates and friends. Will she be able to keep having a normal life if the club exposes her family’s secret?

Chapter 1- Blue Monday

“This is nonsense. None of these ideas work.” Principal Carlson lamented in the teachers’ lounge along with the rest of the educators. It was Sunday at F. Miller’s Elementary, a day before the new school year started and the principal had one goal in mind for this year: A bigger budget and a new club approved by the state’s new law ‘Representation matters.’ The school district announced they had gathered a list of possible clubs to be implemented in each location through polls answered by both teachers and parents at each school. However, there were currently only 4 options for this specific elementary school.

The first option, the disabilities club, was discussed, but if it was approved, it’d seem a desperate attempt in the eyes of the superintendent and worse, it could lead to the school being criticized for segregating the kids with disabilities. The second, the vegan club, caused an argument with the cafeteria staff since they didn’t want to expand their programmed lunches to children that only eat fruit and vegetables. The third one, the gaming and charity club, was rejected almost automatically due to the lack of budget as the computers would need to be replaced. And finally, there was the fourth. “Ugh, I’m tired.” He picked up the piece of paper with the options and was about to turn it into a ball. “How did we end up with these options in the first place?”

“Wait a second, Ned.” Nadia, the art teacher, interrupted him. “Maybe we should consider this one.” The rest of the educators were surprised by her words. “We need funds, if the government will consider schools with unique and progressive programs and they listed it as an option. Why not give it a try?” The principal questioned her sanity, and the woman continued. “Think about it, the first school with a program focused on body positivity and an approach towards nudity without any taboos.”

The principal was going to diminish the proposal until he realized the description sounded promising and the vocabulary Mrs. Sullivan used could make them highlight in the fund forms. “Let’s don’t get our hopes up.” The principal sighed, remembering the polls were made before summer vacations. He hoped the parents that mentioned it weren’t joking.

“Ugh, these dumb ads again.” Lindsay waited for a few seconds, closed the commercial on the screen of her phone and kept playing while her younger brother, Collin, was reading comic books on the floor. The 10- and 8-year-old siblings were enjoying their last weekend of the summer holidays. It was a matter of hours until they headed back to school. Days before, Collin had some friends coming over and they were surprised he shared the bedroom with his older sister, it was a comment they’d often get whenever they had visits. They never understood why it was such a big deal that a girl and a boy shared a room.

“Hey, Lindsay.” She felt his little brother pulling her foot to get her attention. “It’s ready!” Collin could smell the apple pie coming out of the oven. “I’ll eat more than you.” He defied his sister. “Last one is a rotten egg.” Brother and sister quickly stood up and ran downstairs.

Their mother heard the hurried footsteps through the hall, and her suspicions were confirmed when she saw the excited siblings running into the living room and stopped them before they could reach the pie. “Kids, just because it’s out doesn’t mean you can eat now.” She heard the complaining groans. “You know the rules, go wash your hands, set the table and call your father.” The kids went to the bathroom and prepared everything for their meal with their parents. The siblings called his father, who was in the shower, and quickly returned to the living room to eat and get a piece of pie.

“Well, would you look at that.” Their father said, as the family were at the table, seeing an announcement of new approved laws in congress on the news. Lindsay and Collin didn’t care about politics, so they kept eating. Their father explained the situation, yet they weren’t interested.

The next morning, Lindsay woke up with the alarm clock in her parents’ bedroom, it was the first day of school for the siblings. She looked at the time and hurried out of her bathroom. After a warm shower, the girl put on clean clothes and the elementary school uniform. She headed downstairs and saw her brother and her parents were already eating breakfast.

“Told you it was a matter of time until they realized they needed to showcase people with different lifestyles.” Lindsay could hear her father was setting an argument. “Good thing I got ahead with that poll from their school and told them the truth straight up.”

“Yeah, I know, but that doesn’t mean we needed a law for that.” Her mother rebutted. While her parents’ conversation continued, Lindsay wondered if she would end up in the same classroom as her friend, Tiffany, it was almost a tradition by now that they’d be together. She also thought of Brad, maybe this time she could finally confess her feelings for him.

“Hurry up, kids. It’s almost time.” Lindsay and Collin quickly finished their breakfast and said goodbye to their mother, who stayed behind washing dishes in the kitchen.

“Good morning, children. Hope you are all ready for a new year here in school, meet new teachers, friends and have fun.” Principal Carlson started the scholar year in the auditorium. He gave a typical speech to motivate the students. “Before you all go to your respective classrooms and begin a new journey in this learning path. Today is also an important day because we will announce a new club.” Some of the teachers started applauding. “The announcement will be done at the end of the day. However, we would like to make a nice activity before that.” School staff started handing out small notes. “In the following notes, each one of you will write your name and instead of guessing what the club will be about. You’ll write what you think makes you special, it can be anything, whistling, touching your nose with your tongue, something only you and your family do.” With that, the principal finished the ceremony and the children headed to their classes.

Lindsay got an idea, but quickly discarded it knowing it would be embarrassing. This was something she didn’t want her friends nor her teachers to know. In her classroom, the girl grabbed a pencil and wrote: Nothing. “It’s better as a secret.”

“What’s that?” Tiffany peeked behind her. “Nothing? Yeah, right. You could have written about that time you ate 3 hot dogs in a row.” Tiffany said hi to Lindsay and both celebrated that they were in the same class again. “Did you hear? Brad is also with us!” They almost squealed in excitement as Tiffany supported her friend and also wanted to hear the gossip in case she would go forward with her confession. “But calm down, he isn’t here today. He got sick and won’t come until tomorrow.”

After the first two classes passed, Lindsay was eating lunch with Tiffany in the playground until an announcement in the school’s speakers resonated. “Lindsay Mason, please report to the principal’s office.” The redhead girl was confused, so she grabbed her lunch bag and hurried to see what was going on. The principal’s secretary guided her inside and then noticed her little brother and her father were there. Though there was something that shocked her, and it was that Collin was non-nonchalantly wearing nothing but his birthday suit.

Chapter 2- Astronaut in the Ocean

“Glad you could join us, Lindsay. Please, take a seat.” Principal Carlson had an expression of satisfaction the girl had never seen before. The wide smile on his face creeped her out. “As you can see, we are discussing something important for you and your brother.”

Lindsay tried to process the scene in front of her. She wanted an explanation, but only sat next to Collin. It wasn’t a shock for her to see him naked, they never wore clothes at home unless they had visitors. However, in these circumstances it was weird for him to be like that. The principal stood up from his desk and handed her dad a brochure with the title of “The Clothing-Free Club”. It had the drawing of two naked kids as a cover.

For the following minutes, the redheaded girl was hoping her father would reject this absurd idea and ask her brother to dress up back again. He handed her the flyer and could see on his face full agreement. The pamphlet discussed the purpose of the club as a way to raise awareness for clothing-free lifestyles and also a safe place for body positivity. It claimed that F. Miller Elementary was the first school to approach nudity without any taboo or discrimination toward nudists or naturists and would let these students to attend classes without clothes.

It was the last line that gave Lindsay goosebumps. It didn’t matter how many times she re-read it, it didn’t change. “You must be really surprised by this.” The principal touched the girl’s shoulder. “I’ll give you a minute to process it. Care to join me for a coffee, Mr. Mason?” Both men walked out of the office while the redheaded girl resisted the thought or tearing apart the brochure.

“Why did you say we were nudists!?” Lindsay complained to Collin. “I wanted to keep it a secret.” She groaned in frustration.

“It wasn’t me!” Collin replied, drinking from his water bottle. “Dad told them first, I only gave Mrs. Pattinson my paper and she brought me here.” The boy hesitated for a second. “But I want to be in this new club.” He admitted.

“Are you kidding? I don’t want everybody to see me naked.” She couldn’t believe her brother. “You are crazy. If dad agrees to this, you’ll be…” She figured she was also included in the plan. “...we’ll be the laughingstocks in here.” Collin replied back by saying that what was the big deal? They had been seen by other people before. “Yeah, by other nudists, Collin. It’s not the same.”

The men returned, holding disposable cups with coffee. “Well, have you thought about our proposal, Lindsay?” Principal Carlson sat again, enjoying his drink and hoping the girl wouldn’t complain. Sadly, it seemed she wasn’t interested in joining her sibling. He had no idea what to do to convince her.

“I bet she is just shocked. Isn’t that right, kid?” The man could sense his daughter was going to say no. “Before you say anything, Lindsay. I want you to say I’m pride of you. You are being part of something big, sweetie.” Her father touched her cheek. “If you aren’t sure, can you endure it for me? Well, not only for me, for the sake of all the nudists in the world. This is a giant step for us to be accepted by society.” Lindsay felt even more pressured now. Seeing Collin not caring about being seen naked by the principal was bizarre, but how could they do this with the entire school? Would her friends still talk to her?

Before she could think of the further implications of this club, the principal’s secretary called him. It seemed the teacher in charge of the club had arrived. “Excellent, please let her in.” The children recognized their art teacher. “Mr. Mason, let me introduce you to Nadia, the club’s tutor.” Principal Carlson indicated. “Given she is an artist herself and is aware of the different forms of art. I can assure you, your kids couldn’t be in safer hands.”

“Sorry, I thought they’d be ready to take them to the club’s classroom.” Nadia tried to stay calm after seeing Collin naked. “Should I wait outside or?” The principal said it was okay, it would only take a minute or two for Lindsay to be ready.

Lindsay’s heart sunk, she realized that although she was asked and all, it was just a formality. The decision was taken way before she was called in. Trying to clear her mind, she stood up from her seat and took off the school’s sweater. Next was her shirt, revealing a white top. Her skirt followed and then, she pulled down her pastel panties and put them over the rest of her clothes. Her pussy was almost bald, only with a couple of pubic hairs over it. Finally, she removed her top, showing there was still a lack of development in the breast department. She didn’t remember why, but she also took off her socks and didn’t bother to put her shoes back on.

Nadia guided them outside to the hallways. Fortunately for the girl, everyone had returned from recess so the way was clear. Still, Lindsay covered herself with her hands. She was aware of not feeling shame about the human body, but there was a time for everything. This wasn’t a nude beach nor a nudist resort. This was the school she had attended for almost all of her life, the same school she knew she couldn’t say she was a nudist.

They arrived to the classroom, but Lindsay couldn’t remember anything her tutor said about the club activities. She only wanted to wake up from this nightmare. Collin on the other hand seemed really happy to be nude in his classes. Nadia mentioned they wouldn’t go to their last classes, their teachers had been told they would be in the ceremony at the end of the day and their backpacks were already in the club’s classroom.

Lindsay tried to get used to this feeling. However, whenever she tried to only the anxiety of having to face her classmates made her feel exposed. The blushing on her face didn’t help either, she almost looked like a tomato. For the next hours, she only hoped that this wasn’t going to be a total humiliation for her and Collin.

The siblings along Nadia headed to the auditorium. The teachers that were already there were shocked to see principal Carlson’s idea had actually some progress and commitment from the students involved. Lindsay couldn’t help but wonder if Nadia would get naked later with them. She also noticed the stares of her teachers at her butt, but she preferred to hide her front for as long as she could.

Minutes passed and she could see how the seats were getting filled by the different groups in school. She and Collin were hidden while the presentations of the regular clubs did their own pitches to the students and to avoid spoiling the surprise. When it was their turn, Collin proudly walked to the stage while his older sister had to simply follow him without covering herself.

When she faced the auditorium reflectors and her classmates’ faces, Lindsay came to a realization. It wasn’t the fact she had hid she was a nudist along her family or that now she was forced to stand nude in the scenario. She knew that today marked the difference between Collin and her from the other children, it was going to be as if she came from another planet, not fitting with the rest of the school, now she was going to feel like an astronaut in the ocean.
