Play a Little, Pay a Lot Sequel (a sequel to Play a Little, Pay a Lot by Running Bare)

The envelope arrived at noon, cream-coloured and thick, the kind of paper that felt expensive under the fingertips. Dr. Wilson wasn’t expecting mail, not today, not ever, really so when he plucked it from the pile of bills and flyers, he turned it over twice before slicing it open with a letter opener he’d inherited from his grandfather. The return address was embossed in gold foil: *The Sizemore-Leaning Foundation for Social Advancement*.

The letter inside was crisp, the ink so dark it almost shimmered. Dr. Wilson adjusted his glasses and read the first line twice: *Your pioneering work in behavioural normalization has come to our attention.* A shiver ran down his spine, not fear, but the electric thrill of being seen by the right people. The Foundation wanted data, results, case studies. They wanted to *expand* the program.

By the third paragraph, his hands were steady. The FNA—Federated Nudity Advocates—had filed a formal request for collaboration. Their representative, a woman named Vargas, had included her personal comms code with a handwritten note: *We’ve been waiting for someone like you.* The ASSTR, predictably, was less polished. Their missive was a single page, bullet-pointed, demanding access to "all relevant testing facilities" by the end of the month. Dr. Wilson smirked. Amateurs always mistook aggression for leverage.

He set the letters aside and tapped his desk. Expansion meant logistics: schools, community centres, maybe even corporate partnerships. The Foundation’s gold-embossed header swam in his vision. They’d included a check, *seed funding*, they called it, with enough zeros to make his throat tighten. This wasn’t just approval. It was an invitation to reshape the world.

The stool rocked under Mark's bare legs, plastic cold against his skin. He shifted, trying to find a spot that didn't make his feet tingle, but the damn thing was too small. The waiting room buzzed with quiet talk and coughing, the sound of pages turning. Nobody stared at him naked anymore, not like they did the first few times. Now he might as well have been part of the furniture, like that fake plant in the corner or the peeling poster about positive thinking.

Dr. Wilson's door creaked open. Terri stepped out, face blank. She glanced at Mark, then at the receptionist tapping away at her computer. "Fifteen more minutes," she said flatly. Mark swallowed a groan but kept still. Last time he'd squirmed, that bitch with the ruler had smacked his thigh "Posture, Mark" and added five more minutes to his time.

Down the hall, Jerry laughed with some nurse like this was all normal. Maybe it was now. Mark's face burned remembering his first walk through town like this, tiny hands uselessly trying to cover himself. The worst had been strangers' hands—patting, pinching, always saying they were "helping him adjust." The spankings he could take, but these stools? Just cruel.

Leslie used to laugh at him. Now she barely looked his way when he had to sit like this. Phillip and Susie still giggled sometimes, but even they were getting used to it. That's how shame works—it wears off eventually, leaves you numb.

Dr. Wilson appeared in the doorway. "Mark," he said, not unkindly, "come in." Mark slid off the stool, legs prickling as feeling came back. He didn't bother covering himself. What was the point?

The wooden rod dug into his skin, not sharp enough to scream, but deep enough to remind him it was there. He'd learned the hard way that wiggling just made it worse. Phillip had it easier, his rod was smaller, "adjusted for his age." Leslie and Susie? Their stools were smooth. Just another way girls got special treatment.

Mark clenched his teeth as the receptionist looked over, her eyes lingering just long enough to make his stomach twist. She knew. They all knew. The rod wasn't just punishment, it was practice. His face burned remembering last week's "lesson," Dr. Wilson's oiled fingers working the wood deeper while his parents nodded like it was math homework. "Relax, Mark," the doctor had murmured, "or it'll take twice as long."

Down the hall, Phillip's high laugh echoed, followed by Jerry's deeper chuckle. Mark couldn't see them, but he knew Phillip was probably naked too, maybe on his own stool in the kids' area, swinging his legs like this was some game. Phillip didn't get it yet, didn't understand the rod was just the start, that soon the doctor's hands wouldn't stop at "teaching."

Leslie slipped out of the family room with Susie trailing behind. His twin barely glanced at him, but Susie—nosy as ever—paused. "Why's your face red?" she whispered before Leslie yanked her away.

"Posture," the receptionist said without looking up. Mark straightened automatically, the rod pushing deeper. He bit his lip till he tasted blood. Fifteen more minutes. Then Dr. Wilson would call him in, and the real punishment would start.

Mark's Sunday school teacher had been the first outsider to test the rules, her fingers digging into his thighs during hymns, her hot breath in his ear whispering "You're supposed to smile." The other kids had giggled into their colouring books while he stood naked at the front, her hands roaming under the excuse of "helping him memorize verses." When he'd hunched, she'd yanked him onto her lap right there on the little chair, spanking him sharp and steady till he forced a smile.

At the park, it was old Mr. Henderson who set the pattern. Mark had been hanging upside down from the monkey bars when the man's rough hands grabbed his waist, "steadying" him with a grip that slid down to squeeze between his legs. "Careful now," Henderson had laughed loud enough for other parents to hear, then pressed his thumb in hard while Mark's breath hitched. Nobody did anything. Later, Phillip had asked why Mark's eyes were wet, and Jerry had ruffled his hair. "Part of growing up, champ."

School was worse. The nurse's office had a stool with straps..."for fidgeters," the principal said as they buckled Mark's wrists down, spread his legs for the thicker rod. His fourth-grade class had watched Mrs. Kensington "correct his posture" with a ruler against his inner thighs. By April, even the shy girls pinched his nipples when they passed his desk, leaving marks that faded by lunch.

The grocery store was where Aunt Lisa broke him. "Show your manners," she'd cooed, nails tracing his spine while the cashier rang up her cereal. When he didn't respond fast enough, she'd bent him over the conveyor belt and spanked him in front of everyone. The sting blurred his vision, but worse was how the old ladies nodded, one muttering "About time someone disciplined that boy" as Lisa yanked him up by his hair.

Now, naked in Dr. Wilson's office with his parents watching, Mark understood. This wasn't about fixing him. It was training his body to obey before his mind could protest, until every public space became just another place where strangers could touch him. The rod in the stool had been practice. The doctor's gloved hands gripping his wrists now were the real thing.

Mark's breath caught as Dr. Wilson finally pulled his fingers away, leaving sticky trails on Mark's thighs. The doctor scribbled notes..."posture improved, compliance satisfactory" then nodded to Terri. "Wait outside. Rebecca will see you soon." The dismissal hurt worse than the rod. Mark slid off the table, shaky legs carrying him to the door without wiping himself clean. The waiting room's cool air prickled his damp skin.

Michelle from his class already sat on a stool, swinging her legs. She glanced up as Mark entered, eyes sliding over him without interest. Her nails tapped against her knees—chipped purple polish. "You're late," she said. "Mrs. Kensington gives extra stool time for tardiness."

Mark swallowed. Michelle had been first in their grade to join the "Behaviour Helpers Program." At first, boys had laughed when she "corrected" Tommy Fletcher's table manners in the cafeteria. By spring, half the girls were in it too, their little hands pinching and patting boys at recess, giggles mixing with sharp breaths.

Jerry ruffled Mark's hair as he passed. "Look at that, champ, whole town's catching on!" He pointed to the waiting room's new row of stools, signs above them reading "Posture Practice."

Phillip's first public spanking had been over one grape, plucked from the store display when Terri wasn't looking. The security guard hadn't warned him, just yanked down Phillip's shorts right there in produce, the snap of elastic loud as two old ladies clucked approval. By the parking lot, Phillip's tears had dried but his pants stayed around his sneakers.

Leslie invented reasons to punish Phillip, he breathed too loud, stepped on a flower she liked, "looked sneaky." Each "offence" earned five minutes on their family's new stool, a smaller version of Dr. Wilson's, its rod sanded sharp enough to make Phillip's legs twitch. Mark would watch from the hall, thighs pressed together, as their mom's wooden spoon counted Leslie's lies against Phillip's skin: *whap* for "he touched my doll," *whap-whap* for "he made Susie cry."

Things changed when Phillip, naked and sniffling after another lie, looked up at Terri and asked, "Why don't you check if she's lying?" Terri's spoon froze mid-air. Then, *crack* it broke against Phillip's thigh. "Because," she hissed, gripping his chin hard, "lying is "your" habit, not hers." After that, Phillip stopped arguing. He'd just nod, pull down his underwear when told, and bend over whatever was handy, the counter, porch rail, once Jerry's truck hood while neighbours watched.

Leslie lost interest when Phillip stopped reacting. By summer she'd moved on to tormenting Susie with whispers about "the strap stool," but Terri never slowed down. She put a hook by the door for Phillip's clothes, "Saves time," she told the mailman, who handed her a package without commenting on the crying boy bent over the patio table. At church, Phillip's bare feet stuck to the pew as the preacher praised Terri's "good parenting." The congregation nodded, ignoring Phillip's ribs showing or how Mr. Henley's fingers lingered on Mark during hymns.

Mark's skin still felt sticky from the exam table as he stood in Dr. Wilson's waiting room. Phillip, his little brother, swung his legs on the pediatric stool—his feet didn't reach the floor, and Mark knew that wooden dowel had to be digging into that tender spot they both hated. But Phillip just hummed, tapping his knees like nothing was wrong. Rebecca the receptionist peered over her glasses. "Posture," she said, and Phillip straightened right up, smiling even as the wood bit deeper. Mark's stomach turned. Somewhere between Leslie's bored sighs and Terri's relentless wooden spoon, Phillip had learned the worst trick: how to take punishment without flinching.

Middle school gym class brought new nightmares. "Problem, O'Neill?" Coach's shadow blocked the flickering locker room light. Mark's hands shook. The other boys stared—fully dressed while he stood bare. Someone snorted. Coach grabbed his wrist, yanking it away from his hips. "Let's remind everyone what happens to shy boys." The paddle by the showers had two words burned into it: *Modesty Remover*.

The first dark hairs above Mark's groin felt like betrayal—his own body turning on him. He woke up itchy one Tuesday, and by lunch, Leslie was dragging him into the kitchen, screeching, "Mom! Look what *grew* overnight!" Terri's smile was slow, calculating. By Saturday, both boys knelt naked on the bathroom tiles, hips pressed against the tub’s cold edge as Terri lathered them with shaving cream. The razor burned worse than any spanking. Leslie watched from the counter, kicking Mark’s shoulder when he flinched. "Hold still," Terri murmured, grip tightening on his neck, "or you'll lose more than hair." Under the floral sting of aftershave, Mark smelled blood.

Phillip adapted faster. By week three, he’d learned to spread his legs without being told. Sometimes Terri patted his head afterword—dry, dismissive, but more affection than he'd gotten in months. Mark kept flinching. Terri kept nicking him. The red lines on his thighs became routine, like Leslie’s taunts or Susie staring at the hair clogging the drain.

Leslie’s friends started "accidentally" walking in during shaving sessions, phones clicking. Terri pretended not to notice. By Thanksgiving, Mark recognized each girl by her gasp—Hannah’s sharp inhale, Chloe’s drawn-out "ohmygod," Emily’s snort. Phillip stopped reacting, face blank as Terri shaved around his limp penis. The girls lost interest fast.

Leslie's fingers wrapped around the cold metal tape measure, her tongue tucked between her teeth as she pretended to concentrate. She stretched it along Mark's thigh. "Fourteen and a quarter," she announced, loud enough for Susie—perched on the bathroom counter—to hear. "Almost an inch since last month." Mark's skin prickled under their stares—Leslie’s calculating, Susie’s wide-eyed with something new, something hungry that made his stomach knot.

Terri leaned in the doorway, arms crossed, her gaze lingering where the tape had just been. Jerry called it "the weekly inspection," laughing as the boys stood stiff under the women’s scrutiny. What started as simple measurements had turned into something else—Leslie dragging her nails against the tape, Terri’s breath catching when the numbers climbed higher. Even little Susie, barely ten, had started edging closer, her fingers "helping" straighten the tape in ways that made Mark’s breath hitch.

Phillip handled it better. He’d learned to stay perfectly still, arms raised on command, legs parting without complaint whenever Leslie checked his inseam. He’d shot up first—longer limbs, sharper jaw—and the women noticed. Terri’s hands lingered when she shaved him now, her thumb brushing over his hip bones with a murmur Mark couldn’t catch. Leslie called Phillip her "growth chart," her friends giggling as she compared him to the pencil marks on the door frame.

Things changed when Susie stopped giggling during spankings. Mark saw it first—how she held her breath when Phillip bent over the kitchen stool, fingers clutching her skirt as Terri’s wooden spoon left red stripes across his backside. Last Tuesday, she’d even reached out to touch him before Leslie slapped her hand away. That night, Mark caught Susie naked in front of her mirror, practicing Terri’s wrist-flick with a hairbrush.

Leslie pinched Mark’s nipple—just hard enough to make him gasp, not hard enough to leave a mark. "See?" she whispered to Susie, crouched beside her. "Twist *like this*, then stroke down—" her other hand slid along Mark’s shaking thigh—"and when his hips start moving, squeeze *here*." Her palm pressed against his lower stomach, and warmth spilled over her fingers as Mark’s toes curled into the carpet.

Susie giggled, already reaching. "My turn!" By recess next day, half the fifth-grade girls knew the trick—their sticky fingers darting out to "help" squirming boys at their tables. By Friday, Principal Greene installed stools in every classroom, their seats hollowed out to catch what the girls coaxed from their classmates.

The church board voted to add a "Modesty Monitoring Station"—a tiled platform where Reverend Michael demonstrated proper technique on boys who fidgeted during sermons. The congregation’s "amen"s grew louder each Sunday, hymnals forgotten as they leaned forward to watch. After services, mothers compared notes in the parking lot, car doors left open to air out the scent of sweat and boyhood while their daughters practised on brothers and neighbours.

Summer brought new rules at the town pool—no swimsuits for boys. Mark spent afternoons pressed against the chain-link fence, hips rocking helplessly against the metal as hands worked him over. Phillip had it worse—smaller, slighter, his body reacting faster to even casual touches. Lifeguards let girls line up behind his lounge chair, giggles rising with each shudder they pulled from him.

The first spanking centre opened in the old post office, its sign—*Little Bottoms Correctional Services*—gleaming in the July sun. Inside, stools lined the walls, each fitted with leather straps and paddles hanging from hooks. A cheerful bell rang with each new customer. By noon, the line wrapped around the block—childless couples, retirees, teenagers debating which paddle left the prettiest marks.

Phillip was the first O’Neill boy through the door. Terri signed him up for the "frequent flier" package, his bare bottom on display before the receptionist finished swiping her card. Three swats per dollar, extra for "repeat offenders." Mark watched from a sticky plastic chair as a heavyset man lifted Phillip onto his lap like a stray kitten. The first swat made Phillip gasp—by the fifth, he’d gone limp. "Quick learner," the man chuckled.

The circumcision stand popped up the next week—a folding table in the town square, blue tarp covering the surface. The man running it wasn’t a doctor, just a retired butcher with steady hands and sharp scissors. He called himself "Uncle Snip," advertising *Painless Trims—No Appointment Needed!* Tommy Fletcher from Mark’s class went first, legs shaking as the man wiped him down with antiseptic. The scissors flashed—three quick snips—and Tommy’s wail echoed off the courthouse steps. His mother beamed, turning him to show off the results like a prize steer.

By month’s end, fathers brought sons before school, lining them up like lambs for shearing. The man never used anaesthesia—just a pat on the head and the same joke: "Don’t worry, kid. The screaming is the best part." Boys learned to stay still after the first cut, teeth gritted, tears streaming.

The town embraced the new normal too easily. The bakery sold "Snip Snip Cookies"—vanilla wafers shaped like little boys, edges scalloped. Cheerleaders performed halftime routines with plastic scissors, chanting *Trim! Cut! Discipline!* The library hosted "Story Time & Spankings," where kids earned stickers for minutes bent over the librarian’s knee.

The pills tasted bitter. Mark swallowed his dry every morning, wincing as the blue tablet scraped his throat—no water until Terri checked under his tongue. Beside him, Phillip gulped his down without complaint, already spreading his legs for Leslie’s inspection. Mark had tried counting ceiling tiles once to make himself soften—Terri whipped his thighs raw with her belt for "wasting time."

High school locker rooms had changed. No curtains in the showers, no towels on the benches—just naked boys kneeling with hands behind their heads while coaches recorded "compliance scores." Mark’s six-inch erection jutted between his thighs, pulsing with his heartbeat. Across the aisle, Phillip’s smaller erection stood stiff, hips twitching when breeze brushed his skin. Boys’ sizes were listed on locker nameplates—*Henderson: 5.25", Fletcher: 4.75"—like batting averages.

The pills made everything ache and nothing soften. Mark’s erection burned against the lab table edge as Hannah "accidentally" spilled ice water down his thighs. Phillip suffered worse in gym—basketball players yanking him upright by his penis when the coach blew the whistle. By third period, both boys leaked pre-cum, thighs sticking to plastic chairs.

Locker room whispers followed Mark everywhere. "Freak," someone hissed as he tied his shoes—barely audible, but it might as well have been shouted. He didn’t look up. The word didn’t sting anymore. Across the aisle, Phillip flinched when a wet towel smacked his head—*O’NEILLS RUINED EVERYTHING* scrawled in marker.

It was almost funny, in a way that twisted Mark’s stomach. As if he’d *chosen* this—as if nine-year-old him marched into Dr. Wilson’s office asking to be stripped bare in grocery lines. But logic didn’t matter to Tommy Fletcher’s friends when they cornered Phillip after school, hissing *"This is your brother’s fault"* between threats. Teachers never stepped in. Why would they? The town voted last spring to make school uniforms optional—for girls.

Overnight, graffiti appeared—stick figures with oversized erections spray-painted across the O’Neills’ mailbox, *WHORE* dripping down in red. Jerry scrubbed it away before breakfast like washing dishes. "Ignore them, champ," he said, ruffling Mark’s hair as Phillip picked at his cereal, feet dangling inches off the floor. Neither boy mentioned how Jerry’s knuckles whitened around the sponge.

Leslie thrived. She held court at lunch now, tracing her skirt hem as girls leaned in for the latest *"disgusting"* thing Mark did in health class. Yesterday it was *"He *moaned* when Nurse Johnson took his temperature—right in front of everyone!"* Girls gasped on cue, eyes flicking to where Mark sat rigid at the cafeteria’s far end, tray untouched. The truth—that the nurse *told* him to vocalize, that it was part of some "assessment technique"—didn’t matter. The story spread anyway, another brick in the wall between the O’Neills and the town.

Circumcision stand lines grew longer each week. Fathers brought sons Saturdays like it was bonding time, clapping their backs afterword as boys limped to cars, faces streaked with tears.

The acceptance letter arrived Tuesday, tucked between grocery ads and a bill from the circumcision stand. Mark’s hands shook as he unfolded it—full scholarship, out-of-state, dorm assignment enclosed. The paper smelled faintly of bleach. Across the kitchen, Phillip’s stool sat empty, its dowel polished smooth from years of use. Mark told no one. He packed his duffel at 3 AM while Jerry snored downstairs, folding Phillip’s last note into his only pair of shoes.

Greyhound brakes hissed as the bus rolled to a stop—last in a string of towns Mark fled like a ghost. He didn’t look back at campus gates swallowing classmates—ones with parents waving goodbye, clutching acceptance letters like get-out-of-hell-free cards. His duffel held three changes of clothes, $217 in crumpled bills, and Phillip’s last note folded inside a sock: *I give up, they win.* The paper had gone soft from being traced so often.

Dr. Wilson’s office stood empty by Thanksgiving. The town newsletter called it a "sudden relocation," but the Realtor’s sign read *PRICE REDUCED—MOTIVATED SELLER* in cheerful red letters. Leslie found the files first—boxes labelled with boys’ names and treatment dates. She took Phillip’s, fed the rest to Susie’s 16th birthday bonfire while girls roasted marshmallows on straightened coat hangers.

Jerry’s arrest made page six—a grainy photo of him slumped in an unmarked van, work shirt stretched across shoulders that once seemed invincible. The sting targeted "clandestine gatherings," which turned out to mean twelve men in a Motel 6. Terri kept the newspaper in her recipe box.

Leslie married Mr. Feral, gained weight—some said she was depressed at losing her twin brother. She taught ninth and tenth grade health. Her younger sister married an older man named Evans who died years later. She taught art. Phillip became principal—everyone called him Mr. Phillip.

By September 2005, "The Program" re-branded. Dr. Wilson’s old office reopened as The Modesty Correction Centre, frosted windows etched with looping cursive: *Shame is the first step to purity.*

Modesty Correction Centres popped up everywhere—mall food court kiosks where mothers signed sons up for "quick tune-ups." Brochures showed before-and-after photos of boys with downcast eyes, hands folded in laps. *Results may vary*, fine print warned. *Some patients require lifelong maintenance.*

The Program:
Boys got assigned a coach—usually a younger sister, cousin, or family friend, though some mothers took the job themselves.

Day 1: No clothes while eating until modesty was fixed.
Day 2: Naked at home, even with people watching.
Day 3: Model for art class—no saying no or it proved you still had modesty.
Day 4: Same for health class demos.
Day 5: Naked at school until graduation or turning eighteen.
Day 6: Naked everywhere, all the time.
Day 7: Do whatever anyone told you to do.

Fighting the rules meant you still had modesty. Boys who weren’t "fixed" by adulthood got sent to special facilities—kept naked and used for breeding.

The Program spread fast. Too fast. Soon it was Nation wide.
Different states had different programs like the UAABB code of conduct.  This code covers Unacceptable Attitude (UA), Aggressive Behavior (AB), and Bullying (B).
Washington state decides to institute a similar program called the Family Enforced Nudity Program, or FENP for short.
Some much more severe like The Taking Back Control Program.
Others have the Juvenile Alternative Correction and Rehabilitation Act, you are to be nude at all times except for footwear."
Nudity Enhanced Punishment. NUDEP, as its known for short, makes use of the various "Naked in School" and "Alternate Disciple Protocol" programs from other communities as starting points.
Also the popular Juvenile court ordered "Discipline and Nudity in Public"
Out in the fringes there is The Puericil School where regression is commonly used.
There are also many private companies that provide servaces like The Young Ms. Leadership Academy, The Prestige Academy, Triangle Sailing Acadamy, Spankatoriums and The Enhanced Sexuality Program, SNAKPHOB: Sex, Nudity, and Kink Program for the Humiliation of Boys.
The Grandview School for Boys, Longwood Reform School, Naked and Abashed Kids for Enhanced Discipline (NAKED), Hampton Rhodes Academy, The Freedom Church Forced Nudity Program for Boys, The Check Your Teen Program, The Naked at Home Programme, CPCCP stands for five things:  Chastity, Punishment, Control, Care, and Performance.
Then there is Florida, a State wide stripping program with no age limits.
Even Britton had The Child Control Movement and Australia has The Dilworth Private School for Girls.
